Join us on Friday evening for a whiskey toast and cèilidh. All are welcome! A cèilidh is a traditional Scottish gathering featuring live music, dancing, snacks and refreshments. We’ve assembled a fabulous live band and a ‘caller’ who’ll guide us through the dances. No experience necessary.
Dress: fun and comfortable! We’ll be moving around a lot, so plan for lightweight, breathable clothes. It can be fun to twirl in a skirt or dress, but pants and shorts are completely fine too. Most importantly, please wear comfortable shoes so you can dance safely. And if Scotland’s ‘tartan army’ inspired you, feel free to don some plaid!

The ceremony will be held in the Walpole Unitarian Church. Doors will open at 3:30, and the ceremony will begin at 4:00pm.
Dress: summer formal/cocktail attire
While we invite you to dress elegantly, this is the country! We’ll be walking on grass, gravel and some uneven surfaces. Flats, block heels and wedges are encouraged.
Also, New Hampshire evenings love to surprise us with a chill, so don't forget to pack a wrap or light jacket for later in the night.

The celebration continues at Orchard Hill Farm. We’ll take a scenic drive from the Walpole Town Common to Orchard Hill in East Alstead. Join us for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing under the stars.

Transportation
We will be offering a group transportation option on August 1st to and from key accommodation centers and our wedding venues.
Two shuttles will be making stops in Keene and Walpole.
The first drop off point will be the Walpole Unitarian Church. After the ceremony, we will travel as a group from Walpole Common to Orchard Hill Farm in East Alstead.
At the end of the night, the buses will be returning to Walpole Common, and accommodations in Keene and Walpole.

Please note that there will be plenty of parking in each location.
Should you require greater flexibility, driving is certainly an option.
